A beautiful 1950’s - 1960’s era Whiting and Davis mesh bag, featuring an ornate silver metal frame with chain strap. Marked on the frame with the #2898.
Approximate measurements: 5.5 inches high, 7 inches wide at the bottom, strap drop length is 4.5 inches on an 11 inch chain. Bag opens about 5 inches.
This purse is in excellent condition. The lining is a sturdy grey taffeta fabric, with an inside slip pocket and the iconic Whiting and Davis labeled throughout.
